On Saturday, we marked one year of our volunteers igniting connection in the Hills with a Sparkie debrief and planning session. Designed to bring us all together, we shared our stories of connection and discussed the successes, challenges and ideas for the future of Spark.

Nadia shared an inspiring update on where Spark is heading in 2026 and the exciting growth already underway. We talked about the impact we’re seeing across the community, swapped ideas for improvements, and gathered input for a new set of Spark conversation cards. We rounded out the morning with a shared picnic under the trees – the perfect way to celebrate one year of Sparkies helping to reduce loneliness in the community.
