Community Partnerships

Collaboration is integral to Spark.  We work alongside community centres, local councils and organisations to create a culture of belonging in community.  Together we can inspire, activate and empower connection.

Spark Training

Our workshops are interactive and we have a selection of modules to tailor your training to the needs of your volunteers, team or community.  Topics include Science of Connection, Creating Belonging, Empathy & Non-Judgment, Active Listening, Eco-System Mapping and more!

Spark Community Activation

Spark can collaborate with one or more community partners to activate community-led solutions to loneliness through our co-design and evaluation model.

Volunteer

Join our team of Sparkies!

Would you like to be part of a volunteer team dedicated to creating a culture of belonging in the community? At the heart of Spark is our constellation of volunteers who are skilled to create welcoming and inclusive environments, and are passionate about ending loneliness.

Sparkies are registered volunteers who are provided with training to better understand the importance of social health. They learn how to create spaces of belonging, are tooled to spark connection between others, and help to reduce the stigma of loneliness by sharing meaningful conversations.

Sparkie duties can include:

  • Hosting Spark activations
  • Creating a culture of belonging in your community
  • Assist the Spark Team behind the scenes with administration, program development and communications. It’s an opportunity to use your skills to help create impact.

Interested? Get in touch with Hayley to organise a friendly chat to explore how you would like to contribute your time and talents to the Spark team.  While Spark activations are currently in the Adelaide Hills, you don’t need to live in the Hills to become a Sparkie – and we are expanding soon!
